URL-to-pin guide
URL to Pinterest Pin: A Simple Workflow
The fastest way to start a pin is often the page you already want people to visit. GenPin uses a URL as the starting point, then gives you a design, image, and Pinterest copy to review before you publish or export.
Paste the page you want to promote
Open the URL-to-pin tool and paste a public article, recipe, product, or other content page. The destination matters because the generated title and image choices should help the right visitor understand what they will find after the click.
Select a starting design
Choose one of the available pin layouts and adjust the font, accent, or niche direction when the editor offers those controls. Templates are starting points: the final check is whether the title remains legible and the image supports the page.
Edit the pin metadata
Review the title, description, and destination URL shown for the pin. Use a clear promise, avoid stuffing unrelated keywords, and keep the destination aligned with the text. If the page has multiple useful angles, create separate pins with distinct copy rather than duplicating one sentence.
Download or schedule the result
When the preview is ready, download the PNG for your own Pinterest workflow or use the connected publishing and scheduling controls available in your account. Keep the exported image and the destination URL together so the pin can be checked later.
