Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: your email address and sign-in data, handled by our authentication provider.
• Websites you add: site URLs, sitemap and feed addresses, and the public post data we read from them (titles, headings, descriptions, image URLs and post links) to build pins.
• Pinterest connection: the access and refresh tokens Pinterest issues when you connect, your board names and IDs, and a record of the pins GenPin has queued or published for you.
• Plan and usage: your plan, monthly download and publishing counts, and payment status reported by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• Product events: simple first-party events such as “template selected” or “pin downloaded”, used to understand which features work. These events do not include the page URLs you paste.
• Referral source: when you arrive, your browser stores the referring site and any campaign (UTM) tags locally. If you upgrade, these are attached to your checkout so we know which channels bring customers.

2. How we use it

• To create pins from your pages and publish them to the Pinterest board you choose.
• To apply plan limits and process payments.
• To send account-related emails such as sign-in links and password resets.
• To answer support requests and keep the service secure.

Your data is processed by deterministic code only. GenPin does not send your content to language models or other machine-learning services.

3. Pinterest access

GenPin connects to Pinterest through Pinterest’s official sign-in. It asks to read your boards and pins and to create boards and pins. We use this access only to list your boards and publish the pins you have set up in autopilot or chosen to publish. You can revoke access at any time in your Pinterest account settings; autopilot then stops publishing until you reconnect.

4. Service providers

• Supabase: authentication and database storage.
• Vercel: website and application hosting.
• Cloudflare: runs the scheduled job that triggers autopilot.
• Dodo Payments: checkout, subscriptions and payment processing.
• Pinterest: receives the pins you publish through GenPin.

Each provider processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s storage for essential purposes: keeping you signed in, remembering your editor choices, and the referral source described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party analytics scripts.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Email support@genpin.co to delete your account; we will remove your account, sites, saved pins, queue and Pinterest tokens. Payment records may be kept where the law requires. Pins already published stay on Pinterest until you remove them there.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are in a region with specific data-protection laws, such as the EU or UK, you also have the rights those laws give you, including the right to complain to your local regulator.

We will update this page and its date when our practices change, and email you about significant changes. See also our terms of service.
