Terms of Service

1. What GenPin does

GenPin turns web pages into Pinterest pin images. It has two parts:

• The free pin generator, which creates pin designs from a single URL that you can download.
• Autopilot, which reads the sitemap or RSS feed of a website you add, creates pins from its posts, and publishes them to a Pinterest board you choose, on a schedule within your plan’s limits.

Pin text is built by fixed rules from each page’s own title, headings and description. GenPin does not use language models or other machine-generated rewriting, and there are no credits or credit packs.

2. Your account

• You need a valid email address to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
• One person per account. Do not share accounts or create several accounts to get around plan limits.
• You must be old enough to enter into this agreement where you live.

3. Publishing to Pinterest on your behalf

• When you connect Pinterest, you authorise GenPin through Pinterest’s official sign-in to read your boards and create pins on your account. We store the access tokens Pinterest issues so autopilot can publish while you are away.
• Autopilot publishes only to the board you select, at the daily pace you choose (1 pin a day on Free, up to 3 on Pro). You can view upcoming pins, skip any of them, pause autopilot, or revoke GenPin’s access in your Pinterest settings at any time.
• You are responsible for the websites you add: you must own them or be authorised to promote them, and the content must be allowed on Pinterest.
• Pinterest decides how pins are shown and may limit or suspend accounts under its own rules. GenPin is not affiliated with Pinterest and cannot guarantee reach, traffic, rankings or account standing.

4. Plans and payments

• Free: no charge. Includes the pin generator, 10 HD downloads a month, and autopilot for 1 site with up to 5 pins a month.
• Pro: $9 per month plus applicable tax, renewing monthly until cancelled. Includes autopilot for up to 3 sites, 100 autopilot pins and 200 downloads a month.
• Some early accounts were granted lifetime Pro access before it was withdrawn from sale. That access continues for as long as GenPin is operated, and may be assigned to a new operator if GenPin is sold or transferred.
• Monthly limits reset at the start of each month and unused allowance does not carry over. Plans are never “unlimited”.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax; any applicable tax (such as VAT or sales tax) is calculated and added at checkout.
• We may change prices for future billing periods with notice. A change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for.

5. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel Pro at any time by emailing support@genpin.co from your account email. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
• Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Please try the Free plan before you buy.
• If a technical problem on our side stops you from using a paid plan, contact us and we will fix it or find a fair solution.
• Autopilot depends on Pinterest’s API. If Pinterest withdraws or restricts that access so that autopilot cannot publish, we will tell you, and we will refund the current billing period to anyone who asks.

6. Your content

• You keep all rights to your website content and to the pins created from it. You may use generated pins commercially without attribution.
• You give us permission to fetch, process and store your pages and images only as needed to provide the service, including sending pin images to Pinterest.
• Our templates, designs and software remain ours; we license them to you for making pins with GenPin.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use GenPin to:

• publish content that is illegal, hateful, deceptive, sexually explicit or harmful;
• promote websites you do not own or are not authorised to promote, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property;
• spam Pinterest or attempt to get around Pinterest’s rules or GenPin’s limits;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may pause autopilot, suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Service availability

We work to keep GenPin running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled pins can be delayed by maintenance, by Pinterest, or by problems reading your website.

9. Limitation of liability

GenPin is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost traffic, revenue or Pinterest account restrictions, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using GenPin and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support. Pins already published to Pinterest stay on your Pinterest account; remove them there if you wish. See the privacy policy for what we delete.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the date above and, where reasonable, tell you by email. Continuing to use GenPin after a change means you accept the new terms.
